The Nevada Lady Tigers held off Carthage for a 52-48 victory Friday night at Carthage. Two early 3-pointers by sophomore Morgan McNeley helped the Lady Tigers lead, 10-6, at the end of the first quarter and Nevada led by two at 25-23, at halftime. The Nevada Tigers took the third-place trophy in the first Kansas National Guard Invitational boys tournament Saturday afternoon with a 63-53 win over Riverton, Kan.
