Nevada Daily Mail CARTHAGE -- The Class 4, District 12 girls' basketball tournament opened Monday, at Carthage High School. The Lady Bulldogs of Carl Junction opened the tournament against McDonald County in the first game of the night and Carthage took on Monett in the late game. Nevada Daily Mail SEDALIA, Mo. -- The Cottey College Comets basketball team is scheduled to play the Lady Archers of St. Louis Community College at 4 p.m., Saturday, in the NJCAA D-II Region XVI semifinals at State Fair Community College. Head coach Dave Ketterman's squad finished the regular season 16-3 overall, 5-3 against Region XVI rivals.
