John Raymond Young, 100, formerly of Sheldon, Mo., passed away on Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, at Truman Health Care, in Lamar. He was born on May 18, 1914, in Houghton, S.D., to Gideon Isaac Young and Edith Jane (Stevens) Young. He married Dorothy N. Neas on March 7, 1933, in Lamar, and she preceded him in death on Oct. 2, 2006...
