Dear Editor: The popularity of the New International Version (NIV) Bible is troublesome. How can the NIV be so popular when 13 verses are deleted from it but are found in the King James Version (KJV)? These are the deleted verses: Matthew 17:21, 18:11, 23:14; Mark 7:16, 9:44, 9:46, 11:26, 15:28; Luke 23:17; John 5:4; Acts 28:19; Romans 16:24; and Acts 8:37. There is something seriously wrong here...
