Richard (Dick) Lee Horn, 90, Walker, passed away on Feb. 19, at his home in rural Vernon County after a yearlong battle with cancer. Dick was born Nov. 21, 1927, in Horton, to Glenn and Etta Mae (Chinn) Horn. At age 24 he was united in marriage to Betty Lucille Sands on Sept. 9, 1951, in Huntsville, Ark., and she preceded him in death on Nov. 29, 2014, after 63 years of marriage...

Barbara Lea Stewart, 57, Nevada, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 18, at Medicalodges in Nevada. Barbara was born Sept. 15, 1960, to Milo Dee and Bonnie (Trammel) Sutcliffe in Colorado Springs, Colo., at the Air Force Academy. Barbara lived in New Mexico and moved to Nevada in the early 1970s where she operated the Grandma and Grandpa Café on Osage for a few years. ...
