Progress continues on overpass reconstruction

These drone photos show the progress being made on the U.S. Route 54 bridge over the Missouri & Northern Arkansas Railroad in Nevada, Mo. Contractor crews have removed the bridge deck/driving surface and will replace it with a new surface. The contractor also will install new barrier walls, sidewalks, lighting, fences and guardrails at the ends of the bridge. According to Mayor George Knox during Coffee with the Mayor Thursday morning, the overpass is scheduled to be finished in April 2022...
