Saturday marked Nevada’s Varsity’s second victory of the year, stealing the win in an overtime battle against the Carl Junction Bulldogs on the final day of the Kaminsky Classic. After losing against the Jefferson City Jays 60-25 Friday afternoon and losing to the Francis Howell Vikings Thursday after, the Tigers beat Carl Johnson on Saturday afternoon 66-63 to go 1-2 in the tournament. ...

The Nevada Lady Tigers Swim Team competed in the Carthage swim Meet in Carthage, Mo. The Team results of the meet was Carthage High School in first with 383 points, Nevada High School in second with 162 points, Marshfield High School in third with 159 points, Hillcrest High School in fourth with 120 points, Seymour High School in fifth with 79 points, and Lamar High School in sixth with 55 points.
