The Sheldon Rippers and Stitchers Club had their first meeting for the year Saturday morning, Jan. 28, in the Donaldson Community Building of the Methodist Church. Members of the Sheldon Rippers and Stitchers Club worked hard on their quilts that they will be donating to Fostering Hope in Sheldon. Wannita Pauline Stansill, 82, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023, in West Des Moines, Iowa. Pauline was born March 12, 1940, in Horton, Mo., to Ralph P. and Gladys F. (Henning) Houdeshell.
