About a dozen volunteers gathered at the Crawford House in Nevada. Their mission: try to identify and count unsheltered, homeless people in Nevada; the "sheltered" ones, too. Unsheltered homeless are those staying in a place "not met for human habitation," as described by the Department of Housing and Urban Development, which means sleeping in cars, parks, abandoned buildings, etc...
