Nevada Daily Mail BRONAUGH-- Hume's girls basketball team began play at the GVVC Conference tourney with a dominating 80-24 win over Northeast Vernon County on Monday. The Hornets (17-2) led 26-5 in the first quarter en route to the lopsided victory. By the end of the third quarter, Hume was up 68-19. Makena Thompson scored 30 points and 16 rebounds for Hume.
