Nevada Daily Mail BRONAUGH-- Hume's girls basketball team began play at the GVVC Conference tourney with a dominating 80-24 win over Northeast Vernon County on Monday. The Hornets (17-2) led 26-5 in the first quarter en route to the lopsided victory. By the end of the third quarter, Hume was up 68-19. Makena Thompson scored 30 points and 16 rebounds for Hume. Emily Brooks added 18 points, 11 assists and four steals for the Hornets. Tori Sears also reached double figures with 14 points...
