Deann Marie Farmer, 76, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at her home in Liberal, Mo. She was born on Aug. 3, 1939, in Liberal, to Hurchal Rolando and Maude Marie (Sisseck) Rolando. Deann was the oldest of 12 children and helped raise her brothers and sisters as well as her own children. She was a member of the Methodist Church, in Bronaugh, Mo. Deann enjoyed family relationships...

Nadyne was born Aug. 10, 1927, in Fort Scott, Kan., to Willard and Sylvia Latterner. She passed away April 23, 2016, at Hospice House, in Kennewick. Nadyne grew up a city girl in Fort Scott, Kan. She became a farm wife when she married Pringle "Lad" Johnston on Dec. 7, 1947. In 1973, they retired from the farm and moved to Richland, Wash. She worked as a custodian for the Richland School District, then as a custodian at Battelle until she retired in 1984...

Edward L. Steele, 87, of Corvallis, Ore., formerly of Columbia, Mo., died Saturday, May 14, 2016, in Corvallis. He was born Aug. 26, 1928, in St. Louis, Mo., to Robert E. and Margaret (Levens) Steele. Mr. Steele graduated from Nevada High School in Nevada, Mo., in 1946. He attended the University of Missouri-Columbia and received a bachelor's degree from the School of Journalism in 1950...
