Nadyne was born Aug. 10, 1927, in Fort Scott, Kan., to Willard and Sylvia Latterner. She passed away April 23, 2016, at Hospice House, in Kennewick. Nadyne grew up a city girl in Fort Scott, Kan. She became a farm wife when she married Pringle "Lad" Johnston on Dec. 7, 1947. In 1973, they retired from the farm and moved to Richland, Wash.
