The Nevada Tiger high school team football camp is right around the corner — slated for July 20-30. Held at the practice area adjacent from Logan Field, the camp runs weekdays from 6-9 a.m., and is for students entering 9-12 grade. Camp participants will receive a T-Shirt, shorts, and Powerade. Barbara Roxanne Moore, 80, Nevada, Mo., passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at her home in Nevada. Barbara was born June 19, 1940, in Nevada, to Murl W. and Lois M. (Bryan) Boyd. Barbara attended Nevada High School Class of 1958. She lived in Salina, Kan., while working at Raytheon-Beechcraft as a sheet metal worker in the construction of aircraft. ...

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Norma Edmonds, 96, formerly of Butler, Mo., and Nevada, Mo., will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 22, at the Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel in Butler.
